About the Speakers

Gordon Taylor

Gordon Taylor served in pastoral ministry for more than 40 years. He was pastor of Calvary Baptist Church in Greene, IA from 1969 to 1975 and pastor of Sycamore Baptist Church near East Moline, IL from 1975 to 2008. While at Sycamore he led the church through a Reformation, which culminated in adopting the London Baptist Confession in 1987. In 2008 Gordon was appointed as the coordinator of ARBCA. Gordon is married to Rayna, and they have four children and fifteen grandchildren.

Steve Woodman

Steve Woodman grew up in Marathon, Ontario, Canada, on the north shore of Lake Superior. Steve is a graduate of Spurgeon Baptist Bible College in Mulberry, FL. Prior to his time in pastoral ministry Steve served the Lord for nine years as a Christian school teacher at Heritage Christian School in Owensboro, KY. Steve has been in pastoral ministry for fifteen years and currently serves as pastor of Arbor Church in Dayton, Ohio, where he has ministered since 2005. Steve has been married to Melissa since 1993, and they have four children.
