We believe in the regular, ongoing ministry of the Holy Spirit in growing the church at large, and the responsibilities of local churches to join in the work via active local and foreign missionary efforts. Below are some of the ministries we support.

Raymond Perron – Quebec, Canada

perronTrinity Reformed Baptist Church of La Mirada, California, is the ARBC member church with responsibility for the Perrons. With the involvement of the California congregation, other U.S. churches have assisted in granting adequate financial support for Raymond, Diane, and Jonathan.

Beginning in January of 2001 Raymond launched out into a full-time church planting ministry in the province of Quebec. God has raised up groups of believers in Montreal and in Drummondville that Raymond is shepherding. U.S. churches have picked up Raymond’s full support financially which has enabled the Quebec City church to call a pastor to take his place. Raymond has started a “Log College” in Quebec City to train men to pastor the churches he endeavors to plant all along the St. Lawrence River. The glorious Gospel of God’s free and sovereign grace is being preached in the very uniquely French culture of Quebec to perishing souls in need of the Savior and churches are being planted for the glory of God.

Stanisa Surbatovich – Niksic, Montenegro

surbatovic_familyThough not his sending church (that was Faith Community Church, Oxnard, CA) we greatly value the work of this man and his family in Serbia-Montenegro. Niksic is the second largest city in that country, and his efforts for evangelizing a mostly unreached city present more than the average challenges. Their goals include: church planting first in Niksic and then further in Montenegro, preaching, discipling, evangelism, working towards the publishing of a Bible in the spoken language, a regional reformed study center, ministry to institutions and government—all to communicate the Lordship of Christ in all spheres of society and all areas of life. His ministry has moved from one-on-one evangelism to small bible studies, to regular Lord’s Day worship services.

Tim and Faith Brennan – Nonoai, Brazil

The Brennans serve with Bible Education Association Ministries (BEAM). They are missionaries to the Kaingang Indians and Brazilian nationals in southern Brazil and are sent out by Milford Bible Church in Milford, PA. Tim does Bible translation, visitation, evangelism, preaching, and discipleship. Faith oversees and administers the Bible Seminary students in their daily activities while carrying on an active ministry in counseling.

Michael and Ashley Emadi – Co Louth, Republic of IrelandEMADI

The Emadis are presently serving as church planters in Co. Louth, Republic of Ireland.
Michael was converted around 9 years old and grew up in a very small church in Utah. After graduating from the University of Utah, Michael served in the U.S. Air Force as an Intelligence Officer stationed primarily in Japan. He left the Air Force in 2007 to go to seminary. In 2013 Heritage Baptist Church of Owensboro, KY ordained Michael and commissioned him and his wife to serve as church planters in Ireland. They were able to leave for Ireland in November of 2014.
